Meet my new nephew, Corbin Adam Baird.  I am so in love with him!!  My sister Jessy and her husband Adam have been waiting for him for a long time.  After many years of praying and hoping, they finally got a call that they had been chosen by a birthmother to be the parents of her child.  That call came on a Friday night and Corbin was born the next Monday morning so it all happened extremely fast.  He is only five days old in these photos and we can already see his features and personality changing every day.  I'm so excited to watch this kid grow up!  I just can't get enough of him.

Chicken Invasion

CJCHICKENS

We had some visitors during our photo shoot today.  It was fun at first, but then they just wouldn't leave.  Their boldness kind of started to scare us...you guys have seen The Birds, right?  We did chase them around a little so I guess they were just trying to show us what was up.  Lesson learned Chicken, lesson learned.

Spring has sprung here in Utah!  We celebrated by setting up the slacklines in the park and practicing our balancing acts.  Chloe and I both have bum knees at the moment - both injuries from slacklining gone wrong - so we sat back and enjoyed the warm sun and let Jonny and Jessy entertain us with their acrobatics.  They were spent after a while so we all sat down and ended the afternoon with a surprisingly long game of Sorry.  I've so been craving this warm weather.  This winter has been a rough one, I blame it on the lack of snow.  But I've definitely caught the spring fever this past week.  I can't wait for the blooming flowers and green grass to be here in full force!
